Is there a TonyBet app and where does it come from

TonyBet ships two mobile builds. The Android app is distributed as an APK file under the package name ca.tb.ontario, TonyBet's Ontario build, with the newest listed version 1.41.0.485052, a stated size of 32.4 MB and a minimum of Android 6.0; a Google Play listing for that package doesn't turn up, and TonyBet's own vendor pages describe an Android download without naming a store. The iOS app is on the App Store, but its two listings are storefront-specific: the Irish listing (id6738415194, developer Mobileminds OU) states 262.7 MB and no minimum iOS version, while the Estonian listing (id6745890705) states iOS 15.0 or later and no size. Neither listing states an iOS version number, and neither shows Canadian App Store availability — so if you are in Canada, check whether the app appears in your own storefront before assuming the download will start.

Requirements by platform

The two Android listings give different sizes: APKPure states 32.4 MB at version 1.41.0.485052, AppBrain states 18.03 MB at the older 1.36.0.372831 — the difference is the version, not a repack. AppBrain also lists an unrelated app under a similar name; it is not TonyBet, so don't install it. TonyBet doesn't publish a RAM requirement for either build.

How to install the TonyBet APK on Android

The APK is installed manually, so the only authenticity checks you have are the package name, the version string, the file size and the permission list the installer shows you before you tap Install. Use all four.

1. Free at least 100 MB on the device — a 32.4 MB APK expands well beyond its download size once installed.
2. Open Settings → Apps → Special access → Install unknown apps and allow your browser to install packages.
3. Download the APK from the TonyBet site you already use to log in, not from a link sent in a chat group.
4. Check the downloaded file size in your file manager: the current build is listed at 32.4 MB, the older 1.36.0.372831 build at 18.03 MB. A file far outside that range is not the app.
5. Open the file and read the installer screen before confirming: the package must be ca.tb.ontario and the version 1.41.0.485052.
6. Review the permissions the installer requests and refuse the install if it asks for SMS, call log or contacts — a sportsbook client has no use for them.
7. Tap Install, then open the app and sign in with your existing account details.
8. Delete the APK file after installation so an outdated copy is not reinstalled later by mistake.
9. Re-check the site for a newer build every few weeks: an APK installed this way does not update itself.

How to install TonyBet on iPhone

There is no sideloading route on iOS and no APK equivalent. Either the App Store listing is visible in your storefront, or you use the website as a Home Screen shortcut.

2. Confirm your iPhone runs iOS 15.0 or later — the Estonian listing sets that as the minimum.

4. Verify the developer name on the listing page reads Mobileminds OU before tapping Get.
5. Download over Wi-Fi rather than mobile data, given the 262.7 MB size.
6. Open the app and sign in with your existing account; there is no separate app registration.
7. If the app does not appear in your storefront, open the TonyBet site in Safari instead.
8. Tap Share → Add to Home Screen in Safari to create a full-screen shortcut that behaves like an app icon.
9. Enable Face ID or Touch ID for the account only after the first successful login, from inside the app's security settings.

How to install TonyBet on a Huawei phone

Huawei phones released after the Google services ban ship with AppGallery and no Play Store. We found no AppGallery listing for TonyBet, so the practical route on Huawei is the same APK used on other Android devices — the file is Android 6.0+ compatible and does not require Google Play Services to install.

1. Open AppGallery and search for TonyBet first, in case a listing has been added recently.
2. Download the Android APK from the TonyBet site if AppGallery returns nothing.
3. Open Settings → Security → More settings and turn off Pure Mode, which blocks installs from outside AppGallery.
4. Allow your browser or file manager to install unknown apps when EMUI prompts you.
5. Confirm the file is around 32.4 MB before opening it.
6. Check that the installer screen shows package ca.tb.ontario and version 1.41.0.485052.
7. Install, open the app, and sign in.
8. Turn Pure Mode back on afterwards if you want the device to keep blocking outside installs.
9. Use the mobile site as a fallback if the app closes on launch — nothing in the sportsbook requires Google Play Services.

Is there a data-free version

No. A data-free — or zero-rated — app is one where the operator pays the mobile carrier so that traffic to its servers does not count against your data bundle. That arrangement is a South African market feature, where several bookmakers run carrier-zero-rated domains. Nothing in TonyBet's Android or iOS listings, and nothing on its vendor pages, describes a zero-rated build, and TonyBet announces no Canadian carrier arrangement of that kind.

Most launch failures are version floors, not bugs. The Android build needs Android 6.0 or newer; the iOS build needs iOS 15.0 or later according to the Estonian App Store listing. On iPhone the second common cause is space: a 262.7 MB download will stall silently if the device is near full. On Huawei, an app that installs and then refuses to open is usually being blocked by Pure Mode rather than crashing.
